A former operator has been convicted of stealing €60,000 (£40,000) worth of diesel from a filling station using reactivated fuel cards. John Murnin of Castlewellan, Co Down pleaded guilty to 27 charges at Monaghan Circuit Court. He was remanded on bail for sentence in January.
