There are times at the controls of his Reliant Robin when the Hawk slips into fantasy mode, harking back to his younger days and dreams of being a pilot_ Dreams sadly never realised, owing to frequent bouts of vertigo causing knees to buckle at any altitude greater than the upstairs of a modest semi.
