• Mansfield plant hire company Raymond (Access) has taken Andover Trailers' first extendible Superlow low-loader trailer which can run at either normal C&U or Cat 1 STGO weight limits.
The SFEX41 extends forward from ahead of the axles by up to 3.0m to give separate front and rear platforms, or it can close up to become a full plant-carrying trailer. Tare is 8,200kg.
It runs on Hendrickson tri-axle running gear with raise/lower air suspension and a selftracking rear axle.
Power-out rear ramps extend sideways for loading over-width machines on to the 8 6 0 m m high loadbed.
