Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ADRIAN MURPHY last week became the 1966 Fork Truck Driver of the Year. After coming second in his class, Adrian, who works for the AC-Delco division of General Motors Ltd. at Kirkby, Liverpool, sailed through the finals in his Conveyancer to take first place. In 1965, he won Class A, and came second in the finals.

This year, the competition was held in the RAF sports arena. Stanmore Park, Middlesex. There were 150 drivers in three classes: A. 2,000-2,500 lb. capacity counterbalanced electric or LPG trucks; B. 4,000-4,500 lb. capacity counterbalanced electric or LPG trucks; C. 4,000-4,500 lb. electric reach trucks.

Competitors who had competed in previous years agreed that the four tests were slightly more demanding this time. This view was backed up by the score sheet, as clear rounds on any test were relatively few.

Class A was won by K. McDonald of J. Lucas Ltd., who beat Adrian Murphy into second place by 60 points. These two went forward to the finals.

Winner of Class B, the big counterbalanced trucks, was G. Tabem, of Triplex Safety Glass, who beat D. Wickham of the RAF by a mere 20 points. Class C, for reach trucks, was taken by R. Wilson of Mars Ltd., with K. Bishop of Rubery Owen second.

Second in the final was G. Tabern, driving a Yale. K. McDonald, driving a Lansing-Bagnall, was third.

£100.000 BMC 'Servicentre': A new BMC parts "Servicentre", built at a cost of £100,000 by the Bristol Motor Co. was opened at Avon Street, Bristol, last week by Mr. Trevor Chinn, deputy managing director of the Lax Group. More than 25,000 different parts are -available.
