Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BlueTec 5 is the branding adopted for Mercedes-Benz Euro-5 SCR technology, and it is available across all model ranges from 7.5 tonnes GVW including the Atego, Axor, Actros and Econic. Later in the year, the Actros and Axor will be available with an EEV-compliant engine. Actros models included will be those with engines rated at 408hp, 435hp and 456hp. Axor EEV models will be offered with power outputs of 286hp and 326hp. No additional exhaust after-treatment will be needed to comply with the EEV standard.

Merc will also be making the technology available as a retrofit system through dealers. These can be fitted to any Actros BlueTec 5 truck supplied since 2005, and will only need minor hardware and software modifications for the conversion. EEV Atego models are also under consideration. Mercedes may introduce the technology for 12-tonne GVW models fitted with the 900 series engines.

The company has warned, though, that EEV engines will use more fuel and does not expect demand for them to be high.
