Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I take eat exception to the article by yan Jarvis on page 54 of CM, )ril 30. The headline and the whole ne of the feature imply that elford has ceased trading and is been bought out by Don irton. These inaccurate atements could have serious percussions among our istomers and suppliers with 3rnaging results for my )mpany.

The facts are that Mr Burton d not buy Welford, he

Jrchased the goodwill, the lent and most of the stock of ie Stoke-On-Trent division of te company. These works here t Warley in the West Midlands pntinue to trade profitably as re have done for almost 50 ears and the 'shakey' position ou mention in your article )ferred to the Stoke end of the usiness. This Warley division /as not included in the sale. We are still part of BSG Tternationa I and presently have

n order book to the value of Iver £400,000. The Stoke

livision and ourselves always nanufactured quite separate Froduct ranges and here we pecialise in tippers, loader ehicles and airport equipment. Ve are one of the largest Edbro nd Hiab distributors and are UK -nporters of the Italian Pesci :rane. We are regular suppliers

o over 30 local authorities, the :EGB and several electricity and as boards, and are major lodybuilders for Wimpey. ;. E. HAWKYARD Vlanaging Director Nelford Truck Bodies N. Midlands
