• A new depot for Humber Warehousing Co. Ltd., was officially opened at Avonmouth on April 30 by Mr T. D. Corpe, the well-known authority on transport law.
' On a 14-acre site at the Severnside Trading Estate, the depot replaces the company's previous premises at Thornbury, and comprises an administration block, a
vehicle repair and maintenance unit and a dry goods warehouse. In charge is Mr Don Freeman, who was previously depot manager at Thombury.
Humber Warehousing and subsidiary company depots now number 21 and the group operates a fleet of more than 500 vehicles with over 1,100 trailers.
