Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Mr John Peyton, Minister for Trani-port lustries, who met RHA representatives ormally in South Wales last week and ird of their concern that there is no public ighbridge in Swansea, told them he :epted that weighbridge facilities were his :ponsibility and he would look into the ater, writes David Lowe.

There has been no public weighbridge in use in Swansea for some years and the RHA was told by the local authority that the previous weighbridge had not raised sufficient revenue to cover the cost of its attendant. The council suggested the RHA install one at its own expense.

The RHA men who met the Minister during his visit to South Wales ports and the new centralized licensing centre at Swansea, were Mr Ainsley Jones, Swansea and district sub-area chairman and RHA representative on the Ports Consultative Committee for Swansea, and Mr Jack Bevan, BRSL's Swansea manager.
