Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DESIGN of tipping skeletal semi-trailer for 20ft ISO containers which has a high degree of elevation and a fail-safe system of front bolster location for empty running has now gone into production at George Neville Truck Equipment Ltd.

By dispensing with a tipping subframe the trailer weight has been kept down. The rear twistlock pockets are set in a pivoting transverse bolster, while those at the front are fixed to an elevating headboard frame connected to the tipping mechanism. The rigid connection between the front and rear bolster assemblies is provided by the container itself.

To ensure that the front bolster is securely fixed to the chassis when the trailer is used unladen the Neville design incorporates a positive "gun and holster" system of lugs locating in sockets to keep the assembly secure.

The trailer is fitted with a Carrimore single-ram frontend tipping gear, driven by an auxiliary petrol engine, mounted in front of the forward bolster.

The containers on the first two trailers, which are being used by Bell Line Ltd for carrying sugar from London to Liverpool, can be tipped to an angle of 65deg and tipping can be completed in half an hour.

The skeletal trailers are 7.46m (24.5ft) long and are fitted with twin R ubery Owen 10-ton axles. The unladen weight of the trailers is about 4.32 tonnes (4.25 tons) enabling containers with up to 20 tonnes (20.3 tons) payload to be carried.
