The SureWeigh skip-weight system by Avery Weigh-Tronix fits on a skip-loader’s chain-hanger brackets and uses wireless data transmission. Its digital load cells are battery operated: only the in-cab display is powered by the truck’s electrical supply. The accuracy is +/-20kg, good enough for approval by UK Weights & Measures. The system has a list price of £4,850.
