• Williams Tanker Services has become sole UK distributor for the LAG range of powder, liquid, and gas tankers.
The Leeds-based company, which ceased to handle Caldal tankers at the end of 2000, expects to sell 25a year initially.
"We're only a small company employing 30 people, and it's a great opportunity for us," says sales and marketing manager, Ian McArdle. "It gives us credibility, and we're going to fight for every piece of business that's available."
Operating out of a three-acre site, Williams handles 80% of Scania Great Britain's Petroleum Regulations conversion work, says McArdle.
