wheel-drive Prospector D.L.4 powered by a Perkins P6 oil engine. The vehicle has a payload rating of 3-5 tons on cross-country work, and is being shown at the Barcelona Fair, Of channel-section pressed steel, the chassis frame is 10 in. deep and * in. thick, with 3-in. flanges. It has a width of 33f in., and stands some 38+ in. high when laden.
A standard Commer four-speed gearbox is employed in conjunction with a Douglas two-speed auxiliary gearbox having ratios of 1 to 1 and 2.204 to 1. High ratio can be used with or without front-wheel drive and low ratio with front-wheel drive.

Wheelbase can be a minimum of approximately 11 ft. 6 in. or to customer's specification. The overall length with the smallest rear overhang is 17 ft. 9 in. The width across the rear tyres is 7 ft. 4 in., front track 6 ft. 21 in., and rear track 5 ft. 10 in.
