MR. V. E. GOUGH, manager of the performance section of the development division of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., has been awarded the CromptonLanchester medal of the Automobile Division of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers for the 1955-56 session. He shares the award with Ma. G. R. SHEARER, of the company's tyre design division. They were co-authors of a paper on front suspension and tyre wear.
