Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I WRITE IN response to the Peter Lamer article concerning the MA's service provision with regard to the Road Transport Directive (CM 7July).

Peter has been a long time user of our unique visiting service for tachograph analysis and asked us to provide a quote for a full service which would record all data and provide analysis and interpretation for all of his drivers in all of his locations.

Visiting all of his sites every month and providing a full data input and analysis service is time consuming and costly and our price to him reflected that. While we are happy to provide such bespoke services, many operators require less comprehensive solutions.

We offer a range of products which will enable RTD compliance, ranging from a simple software download from the web for as little £15 or even a manual system which is available as a combined defect report and RTD daily log. There are many other RTD recording, monitoring and analysis tools which we have available and they all come with the unique support and back up for which the FTA is renowned. Of course compliance costs money but, remember, all operators have a choice.
