• A tacho disc manufacturer has been forced to withdraw thousands of tacho envelopes from stock after the firm found that glue used in the envelopes erases traces on the discs. Warrington-based Tachodisc says the envelopes' manufacturer changed the glue's specification without consultation: the glue was later found to contain solvents which turned the wax coating on tacho discs black. The company advises drivers to ensure that discs stored in the company's TE envelope are facing front with the reverse of the disc in contact with the glued edges,
