• Preston, Lancs-based haulier WH Bowker International and former Maurice Wood Transport driver Stephen Baker face criminal charges after a collision between a truck and a school bus on the A1079 York Road, in
Wilberfoss, York, which killed two people. Bowker is accused of operating a trailer with defective brakes: Baker, of West Promenade, Driffield, is charged with driving without due care and attention.
