Vehicle and trailer winches are available in three power ratings. The 33 series has a rated stall, single-line capacity of 3300 lbs (1497 Kgs), the 42 series a 4200 lbs (1900 Kgs) capacity while the 600 model's figure is 6000 lbs (2720 Kgs).
All models, except the 33S, have a free-wheel facility which permits the cable to be paid out without consuming vehicle battery power. Motors on all units are housed in weathertight, maintenance-free housings. The 'Synchro-torque' drive system equalizes load stresses on bearing and gears.
Circuit Breakers protect the motor.from overload failure and an automatic mechanical brake comes into operation when power is cut off for any reason whether the winch is in the "power out" or "power in" mode.
