Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Maximising load capacity is just as much a pre-occupation in the Netherlands as it is in Britain. A Dutch company that makes a speciality of high capacity specially-equipped box vans is Carosseriefabriek Smit of Ouk-Beijerland.

Smit's latest "Volume trailer" model for international haulage, for example, has a load capacity of 85cum. This is obtained by using a step-frame trailer on Pacton tri-axle running gear, featuring small diameter wheels and tyres. This permits a low deck height so maximising the use of available vertical height from the load deck to the 4m high roof.

Designed for palletised loads, the interior width is 2,455 mm between walls which are specially designed to receive shoring bars. The body interior is also equipped with heavyduty load shoring beams to prevent forward/rear-wards load shift.
