Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Eddie Stobart is to set up a major operations centre in North Yorkshire which will accommodate 225 trucks and create 150 drivers' jobs.

The base, at Sherburn Industrial Estate, near Selby, will act as the firm's Yorkshire regional office and one of its main bases, along with Carlisle, Daventry and Warrington.

Spokesman Richard Butcher says that the project will be in two phases. Work started last

week on a 42,000m2 warehouse costing £12m; it is due to be completed this June when 100 trucks will be operating from the centre.

Phase two, the transport depot, should open in June 2000, when the remaining 125 vehicles will move in.

Butcher says the Sherburn site was selected because of its links with the Al and M62, and the Al/M1 interchange which is due to be finished later this year.

Stobart has taken delivery of a further 21 Scanias, including its first T-cabbed unit.
