Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Jan). We are a family run business operating for 75 years from our site on the Great North Road at Conington. We provide accident recovery 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for local and national transport firms, and also surrounding police forces. We do not regard ourselves as old or modern day Dick Turpins and take offence at being referred to as such.

Our local police force operated a rota call-out system which did not work thanks mainly to the many 'Freds in sheds" on the rota. The local constabulary now operateS a managed scheme which is not perfect, but does not affect our charges. Our retail rates are the same for police jobs or nonpolice jobs. The only difference is an £18 admin fee.

As for overcharging, in our view the companies that overcharge have always overcharged whether on police calls or not, and will probably always do so one way or another.
