Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I MPROVEMENTS are being made to the range of articulated eight-wheeled vehicles, machinery transporters and tractors produced by Scammell Lorries. Ltd., which are to be marketed under the name Highwayman.

A new cab of timber and plastics, with a two-piece panoramic windscreen, will be fitted to home-market models. The height of the radiator and bonnet has been reduced to improve visibility. Driver comfort has been studied, and an adjustable seat is now provided with sponge-rubber upholstery.

The instrument panel is in the centre of the facia panel, and there is a glove box and space for a radio. A heaterdemister and a windscreen washer can be fitted. A new type of universal coupling between the clutch and gearbox is employed on both home and export models.

The makers state that their automatic coupling gear for articulated models is finding growing favour, especially among operators who work shuttle services, or who use semi-trailers for temporary storage.
