)NE EVENING IN the summer I was sat at the kitchen table checking over the tacho cards that I'd just collected from our drivers.
I was making sure all the dates were in the right order before safely I filing the cards away in their folders. The kitchen door opened and my three-year-old daughter. Erin. walked in. She climbed onto the , chair opposite me and looked with great interest at all the tacho cards spread on the table before her.
Right away! warned her not too touch any of them as they were very important. She raised her head and looked at me as if I was stupid and gave me an answer that only a three-year-old could: "Dad, they are only circles!"
She then proceeded to get down from the chair and left the kitchen, leaving me wondering if this would be a good defence if I was ever up in front of a Traffic Commissioner.
