Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A coroner has urged lorry drivers to wear seatbeits after hearing how a driver died after being thrown across his cab when his truck overturned.

Andrew McFadyeari of Dewsbury, West Yorks was not wearing a seatbelt when his attic overturned at Cottingly Bridge near Bingley, West Yorks in May. He suffered severe head injuries and died a week later in hospital.

West Yorkshire Coroner James Turnbull said: "Wearing seatbelts in these vehicles is not obligatory, but there is a probability that the injuries sustained could have been avoided if one had been worn."

He urged drivers to bear in mind this was not the first time it was suspected a seat belt could have saved a life in a lorry. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
