• McGregor Cory carried the torch for hauliers in last week's Manchester to London transport challenge, organised
by Commercial Motor's sister magazine Estates Gazette.
The Mercedes was up against 11 other modes of transport, and although it took 5hr 30min to complete the run it didn't come last. That dubious honour went to a Land Rover which broke down on the Mo.
