• I.,DV has launched a factorybuilt pickup dropside based on the 2.8-tonne Pilot chassis cab which offers a nominal payload of 1,366kg.
The pickup joins the already available dropside at the same weight but has a number of improvements. There's a new ladder gantry with side steps, grab handles and twin worklamps; the side raves, pillars and gantry are powder coated; and the sides and tail are body-coloured and can be removed to make a conventional flat bed. The floor is one-piece resin.
The pickup costs £11,795 (exVAT) which includes delivery. A dropside is also available at 2.6 tonnes and in the heavier Convoy range.
