MERCEDES-BENZ has launched the Vito E-Cell full-electric van.
Power is moved to the front wheels from a 121hp electric motor, allowing the load space for the 900kg payload to remain unaffected.
It has a range of around 80 miles and a recharge time of six hours on a three-phase supply.
