A DRIVER narrowly escaped serious injury after a youth fired an air rifle at his windscreen.
The incident happened at about 4pm on 5 April as the truck passed under a bridge on the A429 at Bobbing,Kent.
The pellet caused .£300 worth of damage to the truck but the driver. from Sittingbourne. escaped unharmed.
Sgt Evan Jones from Swale police says: "Throwing or firing an object at a moving vehicle is incredibly dangerous and could put peoples lives in danger. If anyone can help us find the person responsible for this dangerous and thoughtless act. please contact us."
