• The Freight Transport Association has amended its 'C' safety inspection forms (TS/4) to include, among other points, checks on windscreen washer operation, stop lamps and rear markers.
The 'C' form is part of the FTA's comprehensive vehicle check system, full details of which, with prices, etc, are obtainable from FTA Head Office, at Sunley House, Bedford Park, Croydon, CR9 1XU, or from divisional offices.
The Association has reduced the price of the plastic inspection chart for the check system. It is now available at 50p, instead of the previous 75p. The chart is designed for issue to all vehicle inspectors who use the system.
