Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A dangerous driving case against a 35-year-old truck driver has been dropped.

Barry Graham was charged with dangerous driving at Slane Bridge, Ireland, on 12 February when his truck rolled over two cars on the hill leading down to the bridge.

Two-year-old David Garvey was crushed in one of the cars (CM22-213 February ).

But on 5 September prosecuting police told the District Court in Navan, Co Meath, that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had directed that charges should be withdrawn.

Graham, of Portrush, Co Antrim, was remanded on bail a number of times through the summer as investigations into the accident continued.

He was taking an artic loaded wrth timber for Oliver Transport Services from Castlerock, Northern Ireland, when the accident happened.

A two-mile descent comes before a sharp right turn onto the bridge, but traffic signals stop traffic back up the hill to accommodate a one-way system on the bridge.

Two lorry drivers were killed in separate accidents at the bridge in July 2000 (CM 3-9 August 2000).

New lane layouts have been installed on the slope to the bridge since February, and many Northern hauliers who used the route to the South have instructed their drivers not to travel via Slane anymore.
