POPSTAR RIHANNA has celebrated her sixth UK number one single this weekend. She’s also on a three-month European tour, where no doubt her fixation on umbrellas will come in handy.
While the Barbadian singer has a large entourage to keep her looking great, it’s heartening to hear that the road transport industry is playing its part in keeping the tour moving. Ifor Williams Trailers, based in Corwen, Denbighshire, has provided a box van that will be towed behind a luxury tour bus supplied by Chester’s Dale Travel.
The trailer itself will carry tour merchandise and the bus will be driven by Ian Dale (pictured). The bus is kitted out with 12 bedrooms, two lounges, an HD TV and Playstation 3 combo, kitchen, toilet and shower... so considerably nicer than most UK truckstops.
