Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE MAKER of the Trident Iceni supercar is to turn its hand to the HGV market and is looking for interested companies to help test its new fuel-saving torque multiplication device (TMD).

Previous tests of its turbo dieselengined car, carried out at Millbrook and Mira proving grounds, have produced fuel consumption igures of 68.9mpg at a constant 70mph and more than 130mpg at a constant 30mph.

Now the Norfolk-based company is looking to apply the same technology to trucks through a retroit device.Trident believes that by installing the TMD, fuel consumption could be reduced by as much as 22%, and is looking for operators with 400hp-plus vehicles – that are used on long-haul routes – to take part in the trial. The irst production unit is expected to be available within the next ive months. Interested parties should contact info@tridenttmd.com.
