)EALERS PREPARED to spend a modest mount of money on smartening up a used ruck can find it works wonders when it comes o boosting sales, says Brian Morris, used sales nanager at Woodwards Truck &Van.

"We're putting them out at £92 a week on a lease purchase deal with a 10% deposit," he adds. "The deal includes a six-month warranty, six months' tax, a year-long MoT and a tank full of diesel."

Woodwards is also moving some 420hp Premiums on by having them converted into 26tonne rigids, and it is continuing to market box-bodied Midlum 7.5tonners converted into dropsiders.

"We've recently sold six, plus one we converted from a curtainsider," says Morris.
