• A temporary cashflow problem is being blamed for Trailmaster Trailers calling in the receivers for the second time within four years.
Last Thursday (6 October), Kidsons Impey was appointed administrative receiver at the Northamptonshire-based trailer manufacturer whose business was growing.
Mike Dean, one of four managers who bought the business from the receivers four years ago, says: "It was a standard case of over-trading. We were trying to fund a business two to three times bigger than we had budgeted for."
Dean is confident that a buyer will be found for Trailmaster.
