Based at Elvington, near York, it sells systems for open-top trailers and tippers, storage boxes and other devices. These include the basic EasyPull manual sheet, air or electrically-operated pull-over tarps and new to the UK, Glide N Cover.
It is a familiar design, running front to rear along the top rail of the body, and is normally used to cover aggregate, sand, stone and asphalt. Aero's cable-operated system uses plastic tubular sliders to help the tarp move easily along the rails, and has soft-start software in the control box to reduce motor and pulley-wheel wear.
Control options are the ground-level manual hand crank or electric with a 868MHz remote as standard.
Aero UK has also been trialling a number of hydraulic sheet systems for hook-lift containers and waste trailers and these are close to being launched.
