We are concerned about the new legislation which requires the driver of a mobile crane to hold an HGV licence from 1 January.
We have a driver who has been employed by us for many years to drive a mobile crane. He does not hold an HGV driving licence and we do not think he could obtain one due to poor sight in one eye. Will there be any "grandfather rights" for existing crane drivers ?
