0 wift Service, the industrial division of Salvesen Logistics, has done sterling work for charity this year—last month it handed over a cheque for E40,000 to the NSPCC. Gregor Townsend, the Northampton, Scotland and British Lions rugby player, accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity From Swift managing director Paul Redfern, The money was raised during the past 12 months in a variety of events which included a 2,500-mile motor marathon around the British Isles and a sponsored truck pull organised by staff at the company's Maidstone depot. Firm handshakes and congratulations to all concerned.
