Keith and Boyle (Transport) Ltd. Previously he was fleet engineer with Blox Services Ltd., having joined them from Burn Transit Ltd.
Mr. A. Young has rejoined Oswald Tillotson Ltd., of Burnley, in an executive capacity. He was previously sates manager at Atkinson Vehicles Ltd., of Walton-le-Dale.
Mr. D. B. Belton has been appointed assistant field sales manager of Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd. Mr. D. A. Whyles succeeds him in the position of senior sales representative for northern England and Scotland. Mr. Whyles jetined the company as an apprentice in 1954.
Mr. J. McCall, who has retired after 31 years' service as installation and service engineer of Tecalemit (Engineering) Ltd., was presented with a clock on behalf of the company by managing director Mr. J. Drinkwater.
Mr. L. Waller, at present traffic manager of Ribble Motor Services Ltd., Preston. will succeed Mr. J. H. Richardson as general manager of Trent Motor Traction Co. Ltd. when the latter takes up an appointment on the executive staff of the British Electric Traction Company next February. Mr. Waller joined Ribble in 1930 and left the company for a spell when in 1945 he joined the Royal Indian Navy, working at embarkation headquarters in Bombay. He returned to Ribble at the end of 1946 as liaison officer in the general manager's office and was appointed traffic manager in April, 1959.
Mr. E. W. A. Butcher, at present assistant traffic manager of Ribble Motor Services Ltd., has been appointed traffic manager in succession to Mr. L. Waller, who, as announced above, has been appointed general manager of Trent Motor Traction Co. Ltd. Mr. Butcher joined Ribble in 1955 and was appointed traffic manager in January, 1962.
After three years as general works manager at Dunlop's largest tyre factory, Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, Mr. W. Holyoak is to take up a new appointment as production executive for the Dunlop U.K. Tyre Group.
