drivers of 200 C-licensed vehicles based in East Yorkshire stress the need for a dual carriageway link from Hull to' the Al at Bawtry; a by-pass to Beverley; the elimination of three-lane roads; kerbs on all trunk roads; better road and lane markings; and improvements to prevent delays at bridges at Thorne and Selby. The report was submitted last week to the Traders Road Transport Association headquarters by the Hull and East Riding division.

The T.R.T.A. national secretary, Mr. H. R. Featherstone, sneaking at the division's annual dinner in Hull last week. said there was an obvious need to remind local authorities that parts of the country had been largely ignored in the road building programme. Road construction had got to have priority.
