TO execute "get-you-home " repairs on buses en route, all depots of Ribble Motor Services, Ltd., have just been supplied with. Modern 500 c.c. commercial sidecar outfits. The sidecar box, painted in Ribble red, is large enough to carry road springs and other bulky parts.
Besides being used for attending to breakdowns, the' outfits will also replenish depots' Stores/ with urgently required parts. For some time the Ribble company has utilized solo motorcycles to convey mechanics swiftly to buses on the road suffering from minor carburetter and ignition troubles.
FREE TRAVEL LIMIT.
FROM January II next, only children up to three years of age will be carried free in the East Midland Area. This decision was recently announced by Mr. J. H. -Stirk, chairman of the Commissioners.
