MEW terms have been arranged for -1-.1 employees of bus companies in the Skewen, Neath and Maesteg areas and will take effect from December 10. Drivers and conductors will receive a
c56 id. per hour wage increase on December 10, a similar increase six months later and again on December 10, 1937.
They will then be on the top grade of is. 4d. and 1s. 2cl. respectively. Annual holidays, time-and-a-half payment for the four Bank Holidays and double pay for Christmas Day, are provided for, whilst a 48-hour guaranteed working week for 90 per cent, of the staffs is given.
