UPS rings fleet livery changes

UPS HAS RE-BRANDED its 3,000-strong UK fleet with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games logo over the last three months.

The new livery is the first time in the firm's 102-year history that a partner logo will appear alongside the UPS gold and brown shield on its vehicles and uniforms.

The courier says it hopes the new design will remind customers, employees and the public of UPS's role as official lo gistics and express delivery supporter of the 2012 Olympics; it is responsible for virtually all the distribution and logistics for the games. Alan Williams, director, London 2012 sponsorship & operations, UPS UK & Ireland, says: "This is one of the most extensive rehranding exercises we have ever undertaken in the UK. The scale and scope of this effort is a direct reflection of the pride felt by every UPS employee."
