Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The trailers that arrive at Broxbourne bear the hallmarks of specific modification and product development. The man behind the development and engineering is Jim Cramp, director of engineering at C&H.

"We do fabrication work, and we are in the process of extending our News International trailers to 13.65m to accommodate the shotgun method of reel carrying," he says.

In 2004 the company designed the News international delivery trailer from scratch before incorporating the Joloda shotgun system. The key element was laying the paper down to lower the centre of gravity. News International would not accept the reels on end so we have always had to be innovative. We were the first to have air-operated moving rear door frames on the trailer to allow the reels to pass through without getting damaged and the first to have air-operated lifting roofs."

The company normally modifies trailer floors themselves, but now has SDC Trailers building three complete trailers. Montracon is building another four. The trailers are a work in progress," says Cramp. "We took a real flyer with this design and it has been proved right."
