Slip sliding away...
STOBART DRIVERS looking for an example from their MD should turn away now, as this picture shows William Stobart having a bit of bother with a vintage Atkinson vehicle at the recent Truckfest, held in Peterborough over the bank holiday weekend. After carrying out a radio interview with the organisers of Truckfest, where he highlighted how he still liked to keep his hand in and drive Stobart trucks from time to time, William jumped in the cab of the Atkinson to drive off, but became bogged down in the mud. After trying to get out for a couple of minutes, the exhibition staff had to give him a push.
