Grocontinental increases driver efficiency with MAN telennatics
STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION firm Grocontinental has seen its drivers improve efficiency and fuel economy since the introduction of MAN's Ea:Style teiematics tool in January.
Nearly two-thirds of its 70 drivers have now achieved a B' rating on the tool, which rates rivers between 'A' and 'F' on a number of criteria, including harsh braking and acceleration and over-revving.
David Grocott, joint MD at the Shropshire firm, says: This is the first time we feel we are able to influence the way our drivers handle their vehicles in a more safe and efficient way."
The firm runs 56 tractors and 120 trailers.
