The truckzone is a home from home for Seddon Atkinson's range of specialist vehicles. Since it was acquired by Iveco in 1990 Seddon Atkinson has used the resources of its parent group to develop specialist products — it became part of Iveco's specialist vehicles division as long ago as 1992. The company has become well established in the municipal sector, where its refuse collection chassis have established a loyal following. Building on that, Seddon's other focus is on the multi-wheeler and heavy-duty haulage sectors, further reinforcing its niche as a spe cialist truck man ufacturer. This is the mid-power rating of the Cummins engine offered with the Strato eight-wheeler. Seddon Atkinson also offers 340hp (254kW) and 414hp (309kW) versions,as well as the Iveco Cursor engine options.

The tried and tested Hendrickson rubber suspension for the rear bogie offers rugged construction and ease of maintenance for hard working vehicles on construction sites. Cross and inter-axle diff-locks should keep the Strato moving in the most difficult conditions. The eight-wheeler chassis is fitted with a PPG Smoothline fibre-filled insulated body designed for aggregates and ashphalt. It's lifted by Edbro single-ram tipping gear and
