Renault Trucks supplies a full range of construction vehicles that are built to last.

it< enault Trucks offers a full range of commercial vehicles, from 2.8 to 44 tonnes. A true multi-specialist, the company offers a wide range of transport solutions for the construction sector, from the Master and Mascott light CVs, through the Midlum, Premium and Kerax ranges.

At SED 2004 Renault Trucks will be featuring three key construction industry solutions from its range — the Renault Master 120.35 tipper, the Kerax 420.27 6x4 tractor unit and the new lightweight muckaway Kerax 370.33 8x4 rigid. SED is the first UK showing of the Kerax 370.33 8x4, which offers operators significant payload advantages thanks to a new construction system that has reduced vehicle weight, without sacrificing any of the proven durability of the Kerax family.

The Renault Master will be one of the stars of Commercial Motor's 'Tipper Live!' demonstration on Tuesday 18 May, giving visitors the opportunity to see the vehicle in operation, including loading and unloading.

In addition to the vehicles on show, Renault Trucks will be taking the opportunity to present its latest support services to visitors, including its new Customer Service Charter. This sets out seven key commitments to operators, specifically relating to UK-wide network support. Renault Master The Renault Master is available at weights from 2.8-3.5 tonnes, with the 3.5-tonne model being particularly popular in the construction sector. Available in a wide range of vans, chassis-cabs and platform-cabs, the Master is considered one of the toughest, most reliable and practical light CVs in the industry With three wheelbases, three body heights and payload capacities between 1,040 and 1,735kg, the Master's wide opening steel panelled side and rear doors have the capability to handle everything from bagged sand and

cement to power tools, ladders and any other tools of the trade.

Out on the road a choice of 80, 100, 120 and 140hp dCi models make for easy driving in most environments, while full disc brakes, a light, balanced clutch, dash mounted gearchange and low in-cab noise levels make an equally important contribution to the driver and team's comfort after a long day on-site.

The Master chassis-cab retains all the dynamic virtues of the van but with the benefit of catering for alternative bodywork — the Master tipper at SED is a prime example of this. Reinforced suspension and a tough chassis make the Master an ideal lightweight tipper, and visitors to the show will be able to see the 120hp,3.5-tonne version in action. Renault Kerax 420.27 tractor

The new Renault Kerax 420.27 6x4 tractor offers maximum payload potential in the toughest conditions for waste and landfill, construction materials delivery or heavy haulage operations. Combining high mobility with ruggedness, strength, durability and high ground clearance to avoid damage when off road, the Kerax 420.27 on display at SED features a sleeper cab and has the flexible power of the Renault dCi 11 engine. Transmission is handled by a ZF 16-speed splitter gearbox with a twinplate clutch through to Renault hub-reduction rear axles. It all gives the Kerax 420.27 tractor unit more than enough get up and go to tackle even the most demanding of application& Renault 370.33 8x4

The Kerax 370.33 8x4 Parabolic has been specifically designed with the weight-sensitive muckaway market in mind. It has been developed to ensure that none of the Kerax's proven strength and durability is lost, while achieving a payload potential of 20 tonnes.

The weight reduction has been achieved by engineering the rear axles and suspension (three-leaf parabolic rear suspension) from the Kerax 8x4 rigid. This has allowed a weight saving of more than a third of a tonne when compared with the multi-leaf version. The weight saving has not come at the expense of durability, with the Kerax Parabolic retaining the front axles and fully !Etched chassis frame of the multi-leaf Kerax.

The Kerax Parabolic will be on static display at SED, but interested parties are welcome to organise a demonstration through their nearest Renault Trucks sales outlet.

SED provides the perfect platform for Renault Trucks to showcase its products and services to the industry and its specialists will be on hand throughout the exhibition to answer any questions operators or potential operators may have.
