Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ON 15 APRIL Commercial Motor featured an article entitled "The Eyes Have It".

I would like to draw your attention to an inaccuracy in paragraph four under sub-heading "Minimum Standards". It incorrectly states that the "no glasses" rule does not apply to drivers who obtained their vocational licence between 2 March 1992 and 31 December 1996.

Drivers who first obtained a licence on or after 1 March 1992 must have a corrected acuity of at least 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the worst eye and an uncorrected acuity of at least 3/60 in at least one eye.

I would be grateful if you could print the correction for your readers' information.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries. Mrs N Barroccu Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency Swansea
