Both UK businesses are thought to have contributed strongly to the 1% turnover rise reported by parent Ocean Group in the year to December 1996, although the group did not release turnover figures for the two companies.
Ocean Group's .C1.14bn turnover was held back only by the sale of unprofitable coloader businesses.
