FREIGHT Computer Services has won an E18,000 contract to provide Schweppes's distribution system with a fleetmanagement package.
The National Freight Consortium subsidiary will provide a specially-tailored drive-based package to cover the 42 operating bases using the FCS facility, and after the first year, the package may be bought for use on Schweppes's own computer.
It will be used for monitoring and controlling the costs and performance of vehicles and mechanical-handling equipMent operated by Schweppes.
