Steel boards and cabinets, priced from £9 8s. upwards, are made to house the keys. It is suggested that in a garage, keys for buildings might be of one colour and those of vehicles of another. When a key is issued, an index card may be hung on its hook to denote the key's whereabouts.

Air Winch CLAIMED to have a motor much smaller and lighter than electric motors of the same capacity, a portable pneumatic capstan winch capable of lifting 300 lb. has been developed by the Globe Pneumatic Engineering Co.. Ltd., Romford, Essex. The winch is powered by a four-cylindered vee motor which develops a high starting torque. With a working pressure of 80 p.s.i. at 40 c.f.m., the winch has a maximum lifting speed of 80 ft. per min. The complete unit with machined lightalloy capstan head weighs 35 lb. It is operated. by either a foot or hand valve, the direction or rotation of the winch being changed by reversing air flow.

Overloading or stalling cannot damage the winch.

Can Dispenser AHAND-CLEANSER dispenser which may be used with I-gal. containers has been introduced by Deb Chemical Proprietaries, Ltd., Belper, Derbys. The pump clips on to the wall bracket and is tightened down over the orifice of the can. There is a dipstick by which the can contents may be checked, and the cost of the dispenser, known as the Spenso, is stated to be moderate.

Lamp Sales THE Grippalite low-voltage handlamp, which sells at 13s. 6d., is now being distributed by Siemens Edison Swan, Ltd., 155 Charing Cross Road, London, W.C.2. This price includes 12 ft. of plastics flex and two crocodile clips. The lamp is made by British Central Electrical Co., Ltd., for whom Siemens distribute seven other types of handlamp for workshop purposes.
